Matthew Ventura

Managing Director and Head of Prime Brokerage Operations

Matthew Ventura is Managing Director and Head of Prime Brokerage Operations for FBR Capital Markets.  Mr. Ventura joined FBR Capital Markets in September 2009 to initiate the launch of the Prime Brokerage Services Group.  Mr. Ventura has over 15 years experience having held senior positions at several financial service firms.

Prior to joining FBR Capital Markets, Mr. Ventura was a Partner and Head of Operations in the New York office of Shoreline Trading Group.  His responsibilities included management of the prime brokerage service team.  Previously, he held senior operational positions with On-Site Trading Group, Schonfeld Securities and Fahnestock & Co. 

Mr. Ventura graduated from Iona College with a B.A. in English.
