Senior Vice President of Prime Brokerage Sales

Paul Havens is Senior Vice President of Prime Brokerage Sales for FBR Capital Markets. Mr. Havens joined FBR Capital Markets in September 2009 to initiate the launch of the Prime Brokerage Services Group. Mr. Havens has over 15 years of prime brokerage and equity trading experience.

Prior to joining FBR Capital Markets, Mr. Havens was Co-Head of Prime Brokerage Sales in the New York office of Shoreline Trading Group. Previously, Mr. Havens was Managing Partner with Global Data Group where he oversaw sales and marketing services. Mr. Havens has over 8 years of equity trading experience having held positions with Goldman Sachs & Co. and Spear, Leeds & Kellogg. Mr. Havens has served as an OTC Market-Maker and Agency Trader and helped establish a small-cap equity trading desk.
