Michael Murray

Managing Director and Head of Prime Brokerage Services

Michael Murray is Managing Director and Head of Prime Brokerage Services for FBR Capital Markets. Mr. Murray joined FBR Capital Markets in September 2009 to initiate the launch of the Prime Brokerage Services Group. Mr. Murray has over 15 years of prime brokerage and financial sales and service experience.

Prior to joining FBR Capital Markets, Mr. Murray was a Partner and Head of Prime Brokerage in the New York office of Shoreline Trading Group. During his tenure of over 7 years, he helped build a leading introduced prime brokerage platform. Previously, he held senior sales roles with On-Site Trading Group and Standard & Poors.

Mr. Murray graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Information Services
